1. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability. Casa do Sol requires a reservation deposit to secure and confirm each booking, as specified during the booking process.
- A reservation is confirmed after receipt of the reservation deposit. The confirmation email provides the reservation details and payment instructions.
- Check-in time: 15:00. Check-out time: 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged upon request and availability.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival, unless different conditions are shown by the booking channel used.
- For direct bookings via www.casadosol.pt, payment by credit or debit card and bank transfer is accepted. Details and instructions are provided in the booking confirmation email and/or on the secure payment page.
- If payment deadlines are not met and no alternative arrangement is agreed in writing, Casa do Sol reserves the right to cancel the reservation in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.
- We recommend booking directly through our website for the best rates. Third-party platform rates (Airbnb, Booking.com) may include additional service fees.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Direct bookings made via www.casadosol.pt are non-refundable. For all cancellations, no-shows or early departures, 100% of the total rental amount is due and no refund will be made.
- For bookings made through an external platform, such as Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com, the cancellation conditions shown on that platform apply and may differ from these direct-booking conditions.
- Guests are strongly advised to take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen events that may require cancellation of the trip.
4. Property Care & House Rules
Guests are expected to:
- Treat the property, furnishings, and grounds with care and respect.
- Follow pool and sauna safety guidelines provided at check-in.
- Observe quiet hours between 22:00 and 08:00.
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy of 6 guests without prior agreement.
- Dispose of waste in designated bins and recycling containers.
5. Liability for Damages
- Guests are liable for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, equipment, or grounds during their stay.
- A damage assessment will be conducted at check-out. Any damage will be documented and the guest will be invoiced for repair or replacement costs.
- Minor wear and tear from normal use is not charged.
6. Safety & Responsibility
- Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the pool and sauna.
- Casa do Sol is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
- Guests use the pool, sauna, barbecue, and outdoor areas at their own risk.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Celorico de Basto, Portugal.
